Q: How long does it take to complete the Esthetics Program?
A: The program takes 6 to 15 months to complete, depending on a student's individual progress; we offer class options to suit your schedule both full- and part-time. We have an open enrollment, so you can begin your education at your earliest convenience and create a class schedule that fits your needs!
Q: On what days can I attend classes?
A: We hold classroom hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Students can choose on which days they attend. Some students decide to enroll in our program full-time and come on all five days; others attend part-time and only come in on two or three days a week.
Q: Is your school licensed?
A: International Training Academy is licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation as an Esthetics School and Cosmetology Continuing Education Sponsor.
Q: What does it take to work in a medical office as an esthetician?
A: To work with physicians in a medical office, you need to obtain an esthetics license. Many of our Esthetics Program's graduates now work in medical offices and many current students are looking forward to working with doctors, as well.
Q: How can I finance my education?
A: We offer a flexible monthly payment plan to help our students fit the cost of education into their family budget. We also accept financial aid.
Q: I recently lost my job and would now like to become an esthetician?
A: ITA works closely with the Illinois Department of Employment Security and participates in all of the State-sponsored training programs.
